|Orthoscopic is an adjective
meaning free from visual distortion.
Orthoscopy is my noun form of this
word which I chose as the title for a
book that I wrote. The intent of the
book is to share some thoughts
about how we, as individuals and as
a society, can better address
problems of today. I do not offer
solutions to those problems, but
instead suggestions for removing
obstacles to seeing the solutions.
One of the things I have identified is
the need to look to our religious
leaders for greater guidance. Since
leaders of the different world

For this reason I have decided to
include links to my recent homilies
that I have prepared and presented
at Sacred Heart Parish in Imlay City,
Michigan. I have also included links
to articles I have written for our
parish bulletin to respond to
questions from our parishioners.
Some are very specific to Catholic
practices, and some are very
specific to concerns in our local
community, but hopefully you may
find some of them interesting
nonetheless. I will look for other
ways to share an understanding of
Catholic teachings in the future.
